An early fly art entry:

The Damsel Nymph O

A coworker came to me this morning and asked if I could draw a fly that caught his first ever trout, while on vacation in Colorado last week. He handed it to me and said “damned if I know what it is!” … To the Goog’s … and after a quick search we came up with a Bead Head Damsel Nymph that closely resembled the mangled mess of a fly that I was holding.

A lunch hour with a drafting program, with a side of GIMP for the faded background, I married the 2 together through some undisclosed wizardry and I give you the The Damsel Nymph O.

Never be afraid to put yourself out there…Get Out In It!
