This weeks fish art entry:

I came across a picture of this fish on Instagram, but cannot for the life of me remember whom to give credit to. Anyway, it was a beautiful rainbow trout, that peaked my interest immediately. I’m feverishly going through profiles so that I can give proper credit.

Completed entirely by hand, available as an 11″ X 14″ print on Etsy.

This weeks art entry:

This is a hand drawn sketch of a fish that a friend of mine caught while on a recent trip to Utah. You might know him as Angler Wannabe. He posted this on Twitter as a slap in the face to all of us poor suckers, stuck in a cube farm, back in Texas… Thanks for that buddy! But really, the trip looked and sounded awesome.  I look forward to the forthcoming blog post.

Completed entirely from the picture above, reversed, using a pencil and a few, fine point Sharpies. I’m still working on a detailed pencil sketch of this and it will be finished by next week. I’ll post an update when it is finished.

As you might have noticed or heard, I opened a shop on Etsy – Lines In The Dirt on Etsy – is open for business. A print of this picture is available HERE Thanks for playing along!

This week Art Entry:

Is this – LINES IN THE DIRT IS ON ETSY – I’ve put up several pieces and more will come this weekend. I would appreciate any feedback you might want to provide, good or bad. Click the LITD ON ETSY button up there! Do it!

I’ve made my first sale already, it shipped today at lunch. Small victories are often the most cherished.

I want to take this opportunity to say THANKS to everyone for the support since I started drawing again! All the positive feedback thus far has led me to the point of opening this little store. I hope you can find something you like in there.

This weeks Fly Art entry:

And now for something completely different… This came about as a quick sketch of a roughed up Mayfly that I did yesterday at work. Then – today’s breaks, a long lunch and an hour at home later… I give you The Mayfly! Look for the hidden fly and the river (and that’s not a fried egg!) I hope you like it. It’s truly an original, 100% digital and I really dig it.

PS. There will be a LITD Etsy store set by the end of the weekend!
